Anti-Cuban legislators, and haters of Miami, supported by representatives of the Trumpist extreme right in the United States, with the burden of resentment that defines them, continue to request the Government of Joe Biden for military intervention in Cuba.
Faced with the failure of the plan developed over the years to create a scenario of chaos and ungovernability on the Island, they have found no other solution than to promote hatred and shout the desire to destroy the object of their grudges.
A wave of warmongering hysteria runs through the media and, above all, social networks. We have seen images of Dante’s own circles of hell, where some of the madmen who shout death would go.
We have seen a poorly advised, erratic, irresolute President Joe Biden, who has opted for the worst variant in relation to the Greater Antilles: to continue the strategy of the previous administration, to ally himself with the Republican and Trumpist right, an alliance that he faces the majority of his voters, who already speak out publicly for denying him the vote that, in addition, he will not obtain from the followers of Donald Trump.
Instead of listening, unsurprisingly, to Democratic legislators, some of them close to him, who advocate a change in policy, who expected from the president an attitude consistent with pre-election promises and party interests, he has preferred to flirt and meeting with petty traitors, whom no one in their right mind would listen to, or want around.
Biden has decided not to listen to the international community that opposes the blockade, and to pay attention to a mediocre group of annexationists and fascists who will bring him nothing, beyond discrediting and disgrace, with which history will judge him as an oppressor and aggressor of a small town of giants.
Nothing will save you from the disgrace to which the path chosen by your administration leads, a dead end.
Meetings, conciliations and senseless sanctions, pure evil wielded against the most elemental reason, face the shame of a people.
We are lovers of peace, we want to build a prosperous future for our children and grandchildren, we want just, principled relationships with their country; but we are not an unarmed people, Mr. Biden, we have the weapons and, more importantly, the souls ready to repel any aggression. Do not be fooled, the adventure would be priceless.
