Havana, Jul 28 (Prensa Latina) Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodríguez received here today the new Ukrainian ambassador to Cuba, Irina Kostiuk.
According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, the European diplomat gave Rodríguez copies of the style that accredit her as the ambassador appointed by her government to the Cuban authorities.

In April of last year, in a virtual format, Havana and Kyiv held a Meeting of Political Consultations at the Foreign Ministry level in which they reviewed issues of common interest.

Cuba and Ukraine celebrate this year three decades of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

In various international forums, and at the highest level, Cuba reiterated its commitment to International Law and advocates a peaceful, negotiated and lasting solution to the conflict in Ukraine that guarantees the security and sovereignty of all, peace, regional and global stability.
