The prominent Cuban singer Osdalgia Lesmes informed Prensa Latina today that she will present her new album La Cumbanchera, on December 24, at 11:00 p.m. local time, at the Casa de la Música Habana.

“The recital will include popular dance and traditional music, through which I will fuse Puerto Rican, Colombian and Cuban sounds from the 60’s to the 90’s of the last century, and I will present eight songs, including Pick yourself up, Get me that and What a bad intention ”, indicated the also composer.

According to Emilio Vega, producer of the phonogram of the Musical Recordings and Editions Company (Egrem), the concert will include a large orchestra with six metals, two saxophones, a violinist and a bongo player.

Osdalgia, whose debut took place in 1992, is one of the most significant female voices on the dance music scene on the Antillean island, with a career dedicated to performing for audiences on national stages, in other countries, for record productions, the cinema and television.

Since then, she has been the main vocalist of female groups such as Las sepias de fuego (1992), Canela (1995), Las chicas del sabor (1996), and the trova pop trio Aries (1997).

Likewise, he collaborated and shared stages with artists such as Juan Formell and his group Los Van Van, José Luis Cortés and NG la Banda, Compay Segundo, Omara Portuondo, Chucho Valdés, the Cape Verdean singer Cesaria Évora and the Puerto Rican Gilberto Santa Rosa.
