Quito, Aug 22 (Prensa Latina) Ecuadorians, Cuba’s friends, requested the Laso Government, to demand the President to intercede in the United States for the removal of Cuba from the arbitrary list of Countries Sponsoring Terrorism.

The chief of the Coordinating Committee of Friendship and Solidarity with Cuba of Manabi province, Baron Hidrovo, delivered to that territory’s Governor Hernan Barreiro, a letter addressed to President Lasso, where Hidrovo substantiated his arguments to remove Cuba from the aforementioned list.
In the letter, the activist refers to the relations of “friendship, sisterhood and solidarity” between the Cuban and Ecuadorian nations, to the support received by Cuba in difficult times and to the criminal U.S. blockade against Cuba.
